Beware any program that tells you only one path, one method, one tool leads the way to fitness. Every individual has a different journey and what may work for one, some or even many may not work for you. That’s not to say the basic principles of fitness do not apply to you (they do). There are certain inalienable aspects of anatomy, biomechanics and human movement science that apply to all people. But a majority of modern fitness programs are developed around a successful piece of equipment or program devised by a business savvy trainer or a celebrity with a great physique. Programs are commonly developed around a popular gimmick, new tool or method. That’s not to say that the tool/method/gimmick in question are ineffective, but overuse inevitably leads to adaptation. This is why Second Nature Fitness strives to be perceived as a resource. To be built on a single gimmick or idea assures an immediate pop culture death, tied to a product or method that will no doubt become quickly lost to the inevitable tide of fitness history. Instead, we seek to bring education.
